Welcome! My name is Samantha, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Metro Detroit area, providing virtual therapy services across Michigan. With several years of dedicated experience in providing specialized psychological services, I help adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges.
Making the decision to start therapy is difficult and often comes after months or even years of emotional struggle. You may feel like you should be able to handle things on your own, or you may be losing hope that things can get better. I am here to listen to you and with you. It takes courage, hope, and determination to reach out for help. This is why, as a therapist, I work hard from day one to make you feel comfortable, accepted, and heard. My therapeutic approach is grounded in collaboration, warmth, compassion, and honesty. My goal is to help you build the skills and insights necessary to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. I firmly believe that the therapeutic journey is a partnership between therapist and client, and I am committed to working alongside my clients to help them achieve their personal goals.
I am a Certified Trauma Professional and specialize in working with people experiencing disconnection, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting issues, and relationship and family issues.
Together, we can begin your healing journey. You are not alone, and I am here to support you through whatever challenges you are facing. My goal is for my clients to feel whole, healthy, and deeply connected to the people around them. I believe therapy is a journey toward growth, personal fulfillment, and a greater understanding of ourselves and those around us, achieved through a process of self-reflection.
Through evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, with a client-centered, culturally competent, and trauma-informed approach, I aim to provide you with practical and lifelong skills to help you navigate your life internally, socially, and professionally.
